What is the purpose of this blog?
This blog is intended to be an outlet for those of us like me (who could eat, sleep, and breathe fashion) or a resource for those of us who don't feel a natural inclination for all things aesthetic.
I'd love for the site to be interactive and provide readers with a source of inspiration for home decorating and personal styling.
Why should we listen to you?
Caution: I am not an expert in the traditional sense. Style and fashion are things I thoroughly enjoy and am asked about often by my friends and colleagues.
Even as a young girl, I treasured flipping through my mother’s home design catalogues and fashion magazines. I was constantly designing and pulling pieces together in my mind. Within the last year, I encountered experiences that allowed me to express my personal style with more authority and certainty (namely, a wedding and my first home). I poured over every detail and loved every instant of the process...and I'm still loving every moment of my home decor and design.
For the past 5+ years I have been working as a consultant in the accounting profession. While this allows me client interaction, collaboration, and great challenges, I can't shake the desire to spend my free time in a more creative manner.
